Glee

Our latest run of Glee was fantastic! We had a wonderful opening performance for the Jack Richardson Music Awards Sunday April 13 at the London Music Hall. As the producer of The Jacks, I had a blast preparing the event and was fortunate enough to include our Glee Choir!

Many of you have asked when we’d start up again. And so, here you have it…

AUDITIONS: Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 4-9pm. You MUST CALL and book a 15 min time slot as auditions will be held individually. Please prepare any song of your choice. Preferably with some sort of choreography. Keep it simple, I just need to see you moving and singing at the same time. Bring karaoke on an mp3 if you have it. Sheet music works too as there will be an accompanist. Call Alex @226-678-1252

Current Glee members need not audition but you must register.

EXPECTATIONS: AK Arts Academy prides itself on providing quality performances, unique to London, that bridges the gap between young performing arts students and the Canadian performing arts industry. We expect each student involved in Glee to practice thoroughly at home and come to each rehearsal prepared with their material. We absolutely will not tolerate bullying, or any student (or parent) having the opinion that they are better than anyone else. I will provide amazing opportunities for each of your strengths to shine, so long as these simple expectations are adopted by each student.

MEDIA: We love attention. There will be photos, interviews, TV appearances and more. If this is something you aren’t comfortable with, we suggest you take our musical theatre course, as it’s similar in nature, just not as ‘showy’. Auditions are not required for Musical Theatre =) Click the links below to view some of our latest media goodies..
