Sydney Meyer

Acting coach

I have recently worked with world renowned director Darren Lynn Bousman (of Saw 2, 3, and 4) on two different projects, and the two projects I have lined up in Los Angeles for the coming year are directed by him as well. I have worked with David Hasslehoff, Ted Neeley, Adam Pascale, Paul Sorvino, Dayton Callie, Briana Evigan, Barry Bostwick, Lyndon Smith, and many more. Many of my friends have their own series or franchises so I have an extensive, working knowledge of the inner workings of the industry. I have been featured in American magazines and can be spotted on many LA red carpets in the last year. I have had business meetings with Ashton Kutcher, Steven Spielberg, Harvey Weinstein, JJ Abrams, Will Smith and Seth MacFarlane.

I have also been backed by many industry professionals, Eric Souliere, Casting Director of “Nip/Tuck”, “American Horror Story”, “Legends” and “Scream” said of me; “I met Sydney when she was a student in my 2-day weekend intensive in which I met with a small group of actors for 10 hours each day. Sydney immediately stood out as being the strongest female actor in the class. She not only possesses extraordinary skill as an actor, but she has a powerful star presence, which is extremely rare. Sydney is a remarkable and unique talent and she boldly stands out among the thousands of actresses of her type that I meet every year.”

Krisha Bullock, Casting Director of “Sam and Cat”, “Degrassi”, “iCarly”, “Victorious”, “Drake and Josh”, and “Zoey 101”, said of me; “As a Casting Director with years of experience, I can state that Sydney Meyer is an actress of strong ability. Sydney’s work is always of the highest quality and her professionalism and dedication to her craft are without question. She possess a unique talent and would be an invaluable member of any acting community.”

Finally, Sara Isaacson, Casting Director of “Fringe”, “Alcatraz”, “Motive”, “Bates Motel”, “Almost Human”, and “The Mentalist” said of me; “I met Sydney Meyer while I was in Toronto teaching a workshop to a group of forty actors. Sydney was the youngest by many years, but stood out as the top performer in the group. Her work as an actress was exquisite, poised, smart, clear and magical. In one moment, I knew this young lady was the real deal and has a life long career ahead of her and that nothing was going to get in her way of becoming successful. I have had the opportunity to see Sydney audition in person and via self tapes, and she has impressed me more and more with every opportunity. I look forward to being a part of casting Sydney in one of my projects.”

I have worked on several TV shows, and multiple feature films, I have trained meticulously, world wide, in a wide range of methods since the age of 9, and have been performing professionally in TV/Film and on stage since the age of 12. Represented by the #1 Talent Agent in Canada, I’m proud to be continuing my training and advancing my professional career while helping actors that are starting out gain access to high quality, relevant, and effective training.
